Change of Name to Lynch Robertson

After 30 years of trading under the name of Tim Lynch Associates, we are pleased to announce that Paul Robertson, who joined us in 2010, has agreed to become a Director of the Practice, as a result of which we have changed our company name.

This comes on the back of challenging times within the landscape architectural industry, during which the Practice has continued to develop and grow, with a major contribution to this success by Paul.

The diversification we are making into new areas can be viewed throughout the Portfolio and website.

Audley Retirement, Ilkley

Following on from the first 4 phases the next phase of this development, overlooking the stunning area of the North Yorkshire moors has been instructed. Linked into the newly constructed grounds and gardens, this last phase will complete a 6-year development programme.

This phase also looked at the completion of the cricket pitch over which all the phases of the development look and the completion of the wildlife SUDS pond, which forms the central feature to the site as well as tennis courts and gardening club area.  A cricket pavilion will form a central meeting point, not only for residents, but also for local people to enjoy during the summer.

Redwood Lodge, Bristol

Following the closure of Redwood Lodge and Country Park on the outskirts of Clifton, Bristol and next to Ashton Court Estate, a consortium of property developers are seeking to obtain planning approval for a new retirement and care village. Consisting of over 100 new homes and apartments, Tim Lynch Associates have been instructed to undertake a detail landscape masterplan and Landscape Visual Impact Analysis of the site. Combined with detailed tree survey and ecology study of the site, this new proposed scheme will be a major enhancement to the area.

Linked closely with the Old Bristolian Cricket and Rugby playing field, golf club next door and the formation of a mini park for residents and guests to use for walking and recreational use, the enhancement to the current landscape has been a key factor as part of the planning process and public consultation.

Redwood Lodge Bristol
